HEATHER LUNDY is a movement artist heavily influenced by physical theater improvisation. Her work derives opportunity for spontaneous narrative expressed through language, movement, and sound. Heather creates otherworldly environments and narrative landscapes which embrace the bizarre and the dark with a delicate balance of humor and subtlety.
Heather is a choreographer, improvisor, and movement teacher devoted to cultivating kinesthetic awareness in order to hone performance skills that support clear and crafted expression.
Heather's performance style, teaching and practice is heavily influenced by Action Theater™, Butoh, and modern dance technique. Heather is a licensed Action Theater instructor. She performs set pieces, live improvisation, and all of the possibilities in between. Heather collaborates with artists from varying media to produce and present work through her own company, Noise Posse productions.
Heather's kinesthetic approach to performance allows the performer to craft the unexpected, embrace the non-linear and ride the wild waves of story through the ineffable possibilities of embodied expression.
